Hi Michael,

Thanks for the bug report and the patch!

I've tried the patch on one of my systems and it works great, also along with
the previous mysql_* plugins. I've checked it in as the default configuration.

Also while verifying this, I stumbled upon another bug in mysql_ [1] which
I've also fixed upstream.
