I have realised that I can start soffice (oowriter ....) as a different user. After removing the following files (log out of your DE first):
.xsession-errors .Xauthority .pulse-cookie .ICEauthority .esd_auth .dmrc everything works as expected. After quick checking I could not determined where exactly the problem lies. Hope this info helps you. -- Damijan Bec
