Hmmm,

I tried removing it but then when I run configure, it seems to demand for aclocal/automake and cousins on the machine. My concern was: Does everybody have these on their systems? If my understanding was incorrect, please feel free to remove.

Would it be all right with everyone if I removed the following from cvs:
Makefile.in
aclocal.m4
config.guess
config.h.in
config.sub
configure
depcomp
install-sh
libtool
ltmail.sh
missing
stamp-h1
autom4te.cache/*

It's all autogenerated stuff, so there's no point in keeping it under
version control, and it clutters up 'cvs diff' output.
