Thanks to Nicolas for tripping on this issue. CVS updated with fix. The problem was that the reiserfs filesystem does not fully (correctly) populate the structure returned by the readdir() system call, hence it is not possible (without a further call to stat()) to tell which files are directories and which are not. The ext3 and HFS+ filesystems do they right thing, which is why it took so long to catch this one.

Please test and pass on any feedback.

Thank you

Hi Paul,

I have bad news : I have installed mbuni (latest cvs) on a new machine, our
production server, which also has ReiserFS partitions. And unfortunately I
encounter the same problem as on the other machine : mmsrelay doesn't react
when a new message arrives in queue... :/

Do you see a solution to this problem ?

Regards,

Nicolas.
