Hi everybody,
We recently released OpenSign v1.7.0. The release contains interesting
new features such as a new keystore, but also two very important fixes:
- CAPI support on IE7 running in protected mode (default setup on the
Vista platform)
- Opera browser support
These fixes are so important, that we have decided on including them
into the v1.6 stable branch. The fixes required relatively fundamental
internal modifications - at least more than we usually allow in a stable
branch, so the test phase until the v1.6.4 release is very important.
We therefore encourage everybody to contribute to OpenSign by testing
v1.7.0 intensively for the next couple of weeks. You can test
Open{Sign,Logon} at:
http://www.openoces.org/demo/index.html (make sure that you select
v1.7.0)
Make sure to report your test results to [EMAIL PROTECTED] We will
update http://www.openoces.org/opensign/supported_platforms.html
continuously as we (hopefully) receive many test reports during the
coming weeks.
If no serious bugs are discovered, we plan on releasing OpenSign v1.6.4
on Monday 11 of June.
