Techno-Activism 1.0 Tue., June 29 6:45-8:45pm $50 W hat is Techno Activism? Learn about what this means to your organization and how to use simple tools to advocate about your issues and causes through technology to your local and congressional representative. Learn how to become a techno-activist with basic knowledge of technology. PLEASE NOTE: This class will be held at SALSA, 733 15th St. NW, ste. 1020. Online Census Data For Grant Writing Tue., July 13 6:00-8:00pm $75 This is a real-time, online presentation on how to access, interpret and download U.S. Census 2000 data available on the Web. You will support your grants with data you manipulate not reports generated from the census. Learn how to access and use U.S. Census data to document client needs and sources of recent research findings. Non-Profit Internet Strategies Wed., July 21 6:45-8:45pm $0 The Internet can offer more than a web-site brochure for your organization. This class will show some of the many ways that the Internet can be used to support your non-profit organization, including Content Management, Workflow Automation, Document Management, Online Fundraising, E-Newsletters, Survey Tools and others. Creating Consistency & Interaction w/ Dreamweaver Tue., Jul. 15 and 22 6:00-8:00pm $100 Advanced Dreamweaver: Move beyond basic techniques to create dynamic web pages using Dreamweaver. Topics covered include JavaScript behaviors, interactive slide shows and animations, reusable libraries, advanced style sheet design and more.
