Agreed that this is not the correct forum for Feature Enhancemnet Requests and niether is approaching the devs direct. The correct method is through the bug tracker process. This process is made relatively complex to prevent frivalous, unresearched and inexpert FER's from being lodged. The feature gap between Office and OpenOffice.org is well known but is more than compensated for by the market and TCO price difference.
