As part of the UK Local E-democracy National Project, citizen-based
Issues Forums were established in Brighton & Hove and the London
Borough of Newham:  http://e-democracy.org/uk

Join us on Monday, June 6 if you are interested in building local
democracy in the information age.  You'll learn about the Issues
Forums model, hear from the local UK projects, and receive a tour of
the new open source GroupServer technology.

Whether you are with a local authority or a citizen group, all are
welcome.  Some will leave ready to start work on a local Issues Forum

for their community and others will translate the lessons to their
own organisational needs.
