While I am on the road and away from e-mail for the next week, I'd love your
ideas on small group sessions for the symposium:

   http://dowire.org/localedem

We really want you to help define the topics that interest you most. You can
feel free to e-mail me your rough ideas before we add some structure to
the "sessions" section of the wiki: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

You'll note that much of the conference will be dedicated to networking and
informal exchange - particular if you come a bit early and stay for the field
trip.

Over the years I have had the pleasure to meet many of you around the world.
Now if your schedule and resources allow, I invite you to come to Minneapolis
so you can all meet one another. While the conference has a local focus, we
plan to highlight some of the best e-democracy projects from all levels of
governance and society. So, even if your focus is more national, this
conference should be highly relevant.

Because I am on the road, I could use your help promoting the conference on
various e-mail lists, newsletters and weblogs this week. So please pass the
previous announcement along to others.

Cheers,
Steven Clift
