Hi Dennis AFAIK, many Excel functions were renamed after v2013 to extend the number of arguments. For backward compatibility reasons new names were introduced to avoid errors.
LibreOffice followed the same scheme. Wilfried Donkers and Eike Rahtke are the developers.
