[dom4j-user] how to use xpath expresssions to create nodes

Is there a way to create and update xml by passing xpath expressions to
dom4j.

 

For example 

 

If I pass something like user/address/mailing. the output should be

 

<user>

            <address>

                        <mailing> </mailing>

            </address>

</user>
