My 7077 mic. has an intermittent. The connector plug has been checked and is not the problem. I have noted that if I loosen the screw at the rear of the cartridge hood and then slightly tap the grill at the front of the cartridge, the intermittent disappears for a few days. I have never comp;etely dismantled the unit and am concerned that if I remove the screw, I may have difficulty replacing it.

Does anone have any suggestions.
