I am new to the list. Have a TR4 with a weird problem. It seems to tune up fine, good power out in the tune position, but when I switch to SSB and key the PTT, I get full RF carrier out. It seems as though the "suppressed carrier" part of SSB isn't. I know the mic is OK, PTT works and when the VOX is enabled it keys the TX fine. Mic is a SM220 from a KWM-2A. Am I doing something wrong? Barry - W1HFN
