Sir,, Firstly may I say this sounds quite unlike the Andersons at GtGold. I have known them for some time and found them to be honest and professional and efficient in their dealings. Whilst I do not know the private details of this particular transaction of course, I, among others, am aware of the fact there has been a concerted effort by a party or parties unknown to undermine and discredit GitGold even to the point of opening mirror sites and issuing emails 'in the name of' gitgold abusing other Market Makers and the public. Under the circumstances I would not be suprised if GitGold wished to carry out a verification process, particularly as Western Union checks/money orders were involved. I think you will also find that most market makers and exchange providers are beefing up their verification processes in light of the plethora of credit card, western union, cheque and auction fraud which has plagued this industry. In addition, in light of the recent unwarranted raid on a US Market Maker by the FBI (or equivalent) and the line of questioning employed by those forces, it is apparent the gold economy is being closely watched at this time. I would recommend that in your dealings with GigGold you would take the above into consideration and I think you will find most Market Makers would agree with this.
