I am having a similar problem. I created a specific content type which had a String element. Turned out that this element had to be integer so I decided to delte this content item first. Since I did not define the contentType in the lifecycle-contrib.xml I got exceptions there. I've added the type now but seem to keep getting exceptions when I try to delete the content item : Exception: org.nuxeo.ecm.core.lifecycle.LifeCycleException. message: State <null> does not exist !
