Don's last comment about the use of email addresses, etc. is the straw that is breaking my back....if DISA establishes an EDI list I will immediately remove myself from any Yahoo lists and delete my Yahoo ID. My hunch is, however, that this horse is already out of the barn. My gut tells me this will probably not be the case with Yahoo. I have other lists that have moved to Yahoo. My only complaint for now is the incessant advertising in the messages. I guess that is the first cost. I'm also concerned about long term. I would expect Yahoo to harvest email addresses from the messages and sell them. I haven't read Yahoo's privacy policy but companies like Yahoo certainly don't do this for free.
