I think "Accounts" were called "Services" in Emailer 1. At that time 
there was no email standard and Emailer allowed the use of many 
proprietrary services like AOL. Later on everybody (except AOL) adopted 
POP/SMTP, so users became more likely to have multiple POP/SMTP accounts 
than to use different messaging services.

The developers forgot the MENU ressource ID 1024. You can change it 
yourself if ResEdit doesn't scare you.
