I took a look, and the endless search is occurring because the OS thinks
that your disk changed in the middle of the search, and that causes the
search to restart. So if you have other programs running that are
writing to your disk, try quitting them. That the Emailer option is
disabled means that Emailer wasn't found before the search was
cancelled.

Any more beyond this is probably uninteresting to the list members at
large :-), but we'll be happy to help you if you follow up to
