The same mbox file seems to be handled > properly by Eudora. SR 1 update for office 2001, available at MacTopia website, fixes that problem and many others. Install it now, if you haven't previously. But to import into Eudora you still need to change the file type from "mbox" to "TEXT". You can do that via File Buddy, or Snitch, or File Typer, or AppleScript.
