Database location?

Hi.

I realize Entourage utilizes the "Documents/Microsoft User Data" folder to
store its preferences and email database.  However, I prefer to keep the MS
Data folder on a separate partition of my hard drive.  The preferred
partition does not have the MacOS 9.1 System folder.

I didn't have a problem using Erage until recently for some reason I cannot
understand.  It fails to recognize the correct "MS Data" folder on my
preferred partition, and instead recreates a new "Documents" folder on the
partition with MacOS, thus creating a new "MS Data' folder.

The MS help file says to create an alias of the MS Data folder in the
MacOS/Documents folder so Erage knows where "to find the correct one".  This
doens't work.

Anyone have suggestions?
