The main change is support for UIDPLUS, which means that when you move messages between folders on IMAP servers, which means that when you switch to the folder you moved it to, you don't have to redownload the message, and it retains all links, categories and other information that can't be stored on the server. We've also enabled support for the mailing list manager on IMAP, and have generally improved performance. If you can go into a bit more depth about the rough edges you've run into, I may be able to let you know if specific problems are fixed.
