Not in Entourage 2008.

This does not sound like a database corruption problem. See if these options
help before you try rebuilding:

Normally, the problem reported is Entourage opens automatically, but the
same fix might apply for that. Hold Shift key down when logging into your
account to disable all startup items and see if that helps.

Check for some third-party applications that schedule events.
MenuCalendarClock can launch Entourage every time it checks for events
(whether or not you have set are any events for Entourage). Other possible
culprits: EntourageABMenu, Quicksilver, LaunchBar, iKey, Keyboard Maestro.
