Hi all, Just did a quick fix on my ever creeping 28-135IS this morning and would like to share with you. I use a thin velvet paper (ie. the material found on the inner side of the lens hood) back it with double side adhesive tape and cut it into a 15mm wide strip. Then tape it all around the outermost lens barrel when it's fully extended with the joint arranged on the bottom side of the lens. Make it slip a little bit below the second barrel.
