Certainly. In 1902, there were a lot of people who knew that flight could happen. Just about every major country was involved in the process to some degree... the problem wasn't the theory. It was simply a question of getting a gasoline engine to attach to a couple of wings. In other words, 2 off the shelf parts, joined together, to make a brand new item.
Now, it's strange that you should mention the Wright Brothers, Robert. Remember, in 1902, there were big efforts funded in France, Germany, and England. Along comes a couple of middle aged bicycle shop repairmen, and invent the thing that far greater minds and far greater funding, could not.
So, if you can come up with a bathtub process to produce a handful of antimatter, well then, you can make that quick trip to Pluto and beyond. Until then, the rest of us will just keep tinkering with something as prosaic as a terrestial bound ice submersible.
