Hi, To add to what you have observed, I see the same thing. But, if I extract the files from the rar file with WinRar, and then re archive them with WinRar, they are then perfectly correct and FC can both view and extract.
I have assumed that this is because the origin of the "peculiar" rar files is mostly from European or Asian countries. Just a guess, something to do with code page.?
