Hi Everyone- Last I posted we had tested negative which was great! They had been previously exposed. Well Maggie began doing a lot of lip licking and had some small drool- not a lot just a bit here and there- I also noticed kitty acne and have since switched to only stainless steel bowls from the plastic. But I did take her to the vet and she has ulcers/sores on her tongue and he thinks they may run through her digestive track. She was having some diarrhea. She was never running fevers thought so I think that's good. He said they aren't rodent ulcers because they aren't on her lips and he's never seen anything like this before. He gave her a long lasting steriod shots and she is on amoxicillin. I still give her her vitamin supps even though she has tested negative. She was having a heard time w/ her hard food and treats and wanting to swallow it whole so I have softened the hard food w/ water and we also have soft food 2 x's daily- I have been giving her extra because she does have the appetite and w/ not eating the dry, I don't want her to loose too much weight- Has anyone ever had this happen? Does anyone have any ideas? I am worried about her.
