I miss you all too -- but have never contributed much. I'm a lurker who is 
less active in the fiber arts than many of you -- but I am interested. My 
most recent activity, such as it is, is crocheting as simple lace shawl for 
an auction to benefit a charitable group I help with. It is made from yarn I 
got when I acquired the stash of a much-loved group member, now deceased. 
Items made from her yarn usually fetch a good price at the auction. The 
shawl is purple, which is a color I don't wear. Fortunately, many others are 
fond of purple.
