Yet another new bug in Finale 2010B OS 10.5.6 MacBook Pro 4gb ram I have stopped using 2 monitors as Finale does not seem to get along with that setup!
I finished arrangements and find that all of sudden, music is copied at the end of the chart. This has happened on 4 out of 26 songs in the last 3 days. One song, I edited the lyric, was about to close and save the file and now the lyrics are gone and the old melody is pasted at the end. I'll have to type in the lyrics again. I printed parts and found this out. Some I found before printing. At least I see that the full arrangement is not gone as I first thought. On these arrangements, we recorded the ww, brass and rhythm then recorded the strings. When I went to page layout the strings, I didn't want to overwrite the layouts of the ww, brass and rhythm so I made a copy of the file then said generate parts and did page layout on the strings. The only alternative I know would be to create a new part without using generate parts. Anyway, has anyone experienced anything like this? Any suggestions? Lately, I am having all kinds of bugs suddenly show up on Finale 2010 after working properly, then suddenly something happens unexpectedly. Very frustrating!
