Any time there might be a question. When, for instance, other parts get louder or softer, as a reminder. I often run into that.
also if the musical character in the piece changes noticeably, or a new "section" (obviously open to interpretation) starts.
i also find it useful to include the dynamic at the start of the first note in every left hand page in the SC only.
