There has been a crash of the cvs backup server, see http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=2352&group_id=1#cvs
Currently the cvs browser still presents the status of about 6 days ago, i.e. the all files I checked are at least that old. Hopefully the backup server will be synced soon.
What I start to find truely disturbing is not the crash. This can happen all the time. But they seem to start loosing the grip on reality.
The big upgrade of the cvs service was announced for August.
And the message about the cvs backup server crash states that at the time of its writing, the cvs pserver access (this includes cvsweb) was back to normal. This is still not true. And it is not even back to its state of 6 days ago.
For example, right now there is no version of the passwd package at all in unstable/main/finkinfo/base/
And now even finkbot is dead <sniff>
