I have the same setup (MacBook released Feb. 26 2008, OS X 10.5.2, X11 2.1.4, XCode 3.0) and am getting the exact same error. Looks like /usr/X11/lib/libXrandr.2.0.0.dylib is not found, but I don't know how to fix that. FWIW, the same error also occurs when I try to install gnucash using macports.
