Disable is too heavy requirement. Enough is changing from "required" 
(default for server) to "enabled".

But (I'm not strong with python not to say more - therefore excuses) if 
one can

conn = firebirdsql.connect(
...
         use_srp=True,
         wire_crypt=True)

and it does not cause 'Unknown parameter' error does it mean some 
implementation of SRP is present?
