Bubble Dynamics/Magnetic Bubbles
The Experimental Fluid Dynamics Group located in the Division of
Physics is looking for an outstanding curiosity driven personality
interested in bubble dynamics research. We offer an exciting research
environment and are competitive at the highest international level.
The main theme of the experimental research position is the study of
magnetic shelled bubbles but also offers you to study experimentally
bubble-cell interaction and cavitation in microfluidics.
Ideally you have research experience in fluid mechanics, in
particular in gas bubble dynamics, and/or microfluidics, and you are
comfortable with high-speed photography, image processing,
electronics, and numerical modeling.
The duration of the position is 18 months and you would ideally
start in March 2009. Yet, we collect applications until the position
is filled.
