As an update to my previous post about this where I was trying to find a device that would work with Win7 64 bit, I thought I would share with the group that the Iogear GUC232A USB to Serial converter works fine with this OS. I had to download the correct driver from the Iogear web site as the CD that came with it did not include the signed 64 bit driver. After installing the correct driver, the device works well and has allowed me to interface my LP-100A with DDUtil. I hope that what I have learned from my search will benefit other Flex Users who may take the plunge into Windows 7 64 bit and need a USB to Serial converter that will work.
I just hope this post does not start another debate about 32 bit v. 64 bit OS!
