Hi there all, just took delivery of my new pc yersterday, this machine is for use with a Flex5000A when it gets into the country. The machine is a Xeon powered beast with 2Xpci-e (1 16 X and 1 4X), 1 standard pci and a 64 bit pci slot. Now trying to make the machine work with out to many problems I have opted to (might ) install a audity2 sound card on the standard pci slot, I have a second questio regarding sound cards. 1st question does anybody know of a pci 64 bit firewire card that is going to work with a Flex 5000A nicely, So far I have only really found one on the web, normally used in macs. I can see the good old TI on the main chip, from my understnading it sould work? 2nd question (might sound silly) has anybody used the creative labs X-FI cards that are pci-e type one?? is there any known problems??
