 Val,
I am using pretty much the same setup that you are using. HTD does not need
to be running to use DM780. I have been using com0com; however, I just
switched to VSP. You might make sure you don't have the input and output
for the soundcard settings in the program options.

Subject: [Flexradio] DM780

I need some Flex'er help with digital mode using the DM780 program. I
currently use the MixW program, but would like to try the DM780 (v5.0
b2321)). However, I cannot get it to recognize my audio input. I have tried
my VAC cables (which works fine with MixW) and the Flex audio port. Nothing
seems to work.

The new HDR and DM780 works fine with my ICOM 756P2 radio and USB sound
card, but no joy with the Flex 5000. Do I need HDR running for the new DM780
to work?
If so, I read they are suppose be independent of each other. Help please!

My System:
HP Computer: 3.4 GHz with 2 GB RAM
OS: Windows XP Pro with SP3
 Flex-5000A
 FireWire Driver: 3.4.2.6300
 Firmware: 1.3.0.8
 PowerSDR: 1.18.3
 VCOM (N8VB) 2.2.6a
 VAC 4.09.0.1652
 DDUTIL 1.7.6.14

 Tnx de N0QW (Val Walker)
