I have a Sony vgn-nr220e, low end, slow, but it has a firewire TI chipset with nothing else on its irq, psdr runs great!I can even surf the web and do email while its running, over the wireless lan, without problems.
This was a $500.00 laptop a year or two ago. 1.6 Ghz duo core, 2 Gig memory, vista.... I guess it works because of the TI firewire chipset. The only other thing on the irq is the pci slot, not in use.... Brett----- Original Message ----- From: "George Allen" <gal...@townsoft.com>

For those of you who are using a laptop for the F3K, what are the attributes of your laptop and are you experiencing an problems with PowerSdr stopping periodically? I am using the recommended sampling/buffer-size as specified in the start-up documentation, 9600/1024. My laptop is a Dell dual-core system . PowerSDR will run for a few minutes, then stops. Clicking the start/stop button will restart the program. Any thoughts?
