Stu,If you are playing PowerSDR purely demo without the radio, you will have to use the soundcard of the computer to do the ADC, most sound cards will not go pass 48K, so be sure to set your sample rate to 48K, and another tip... Set your manual latency to about 50 or 60 ms to start, and you may need to run the Windows DirectSound driver instead of MME to get smooth audio. All this is in the Audio tab of PowerSDR, to set the latency rate be sure to select the expert box... If you are interested in some additional I/Q files, check out my personal site http://wa5qpz.com then go to the Downloads.. The first I/Q file is a 250 mb CW Field Day last year, lots of good CW signals, and you can show off the filters.. The last one is a late night on 75 meter SSB, 20 over S-9 static crashes, just back down on the AGC-T gain and listen to the signals standout.. Pretty impressive. Hope this helps.

I'm giving a presentation tomorrow evening on the Flex in contesting... I'd like to finish up with a hands on demo of PowerSDR using recorded IQ data from my F5000...I've successfully installed PowerSDR on my lap top and got it to play back a recorded file... but...What's the maximum sample rate I can use in demo mode? I recorded 20 minutes worth of 20m from this morning at 192 KHz sampling rate but when I play it back, it sounds like multiple parts of the band are overlaid on one another.Any help much appreciated!ThanksStu K6TU _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/
