Gary,

I think that care setting of the VAC buffers might help.. Also I have found that in the VAC console raise the number of instances to 30 from 20 and the ms/interrupt to 5 ms down from 7 ms. This also helps.. My EasyPal runs smooth here and I can bounce from another program to EasyPal and back with out any issues.. Win7 or XP ..

Have been working thru some quirks with integration with EasyPAL for SSTV. Thought I'd share these observations as others may have had similar quirks.

It seem EasyPAL's latest version (Ver 5/beta) doesn't do well with CAT to the PSDR/F3K but using a virtual COM port for PTT is okay.

If I have had my PSDR up and integrated with HRD, and then shut down HRD and bring up EasyPAL, there are a lot of drops on the VAC. Solution seems to be to stop all apps (PSDR and EasyPAL) and then restart in the sequence of PSDR first (start the radio) and then bring up EasyPAL. If that doesn't work (about 1% of the time) then a complete reboot and the above startup sequence will.

Occasionally, when going to transmit, the F3K goes into xmitt mode, but no RF is output. Solution is to abort, from EasyPAL, and then go back into xmitt. Not sure if this is a PSDR or EasyPAL fault.
