When tuning into a dipole antenna on 40 Meters with the auto-tuner, frequently I get high swr. If I re-initiate tuning, the swr might go down....or up. I initiate tuning several times until I see an swr of 2:1 or less.
I am using the firmware, driver, and SDR 1.18.3 as received with the F3K this fall. I have not updated anything. The antenna appears to be dry...as dry as you can get here in Bequia where it is hot and a bit humid. Any thoughts? BTW - have been operating mostly CW. The filtering is absolutely astounding! When I generate a pile up, I narrow down the filters and am able to separate the signals.
