Ralph Hoehn: How were the EPDM strips attached to the Hypalon hull? Can you take them
off easily?
Lew Crenshaw: The EDPM stips are glued to the hull (directly onto the hypalon). Don't
know how easy it would be to pull it off, but I'd suspect it would leave behind a mess
that would require a lot of scraping or solvents to get off.
RH: Some glues will respond to the application of heat. There is a good chance that
the clever folks at Feathercraft have thought of this to facilitate removal of worn
out keel strips. Have you tried emailing them about it? (Would be very interested in
their response!)
