Ralph Hoehn: May this serve as a strong word of encouragement to feel free to stray 
off topic!

I suspect, that in this group of people, who share the enjoyment of folding boats, 
skin-on-frame-boats in general (heck all sorts of little ships for that matter) AND 
their building, such straying will more often than not meet with intense interest 
rather than comlaints!

And if anyone appears to any of you to be straying too far after all ... please feel 
free to bring him or her back down to earth with some stern, deeply practical building 
advice ;-).
