Dale Caldwell: there is at http://systransoft.com a site which will produce 
something not too far from a translation of some of the world's best web 
pages.  when it fails as a translation, it usually succeeds as comedy.
Ralph Hoehn: OK, OK, translation is underway. We expect coherent results by 
about April (given that the participants have a couple of other things to 
keep on the boil in parallel ;-). "systransoft" is not bad at all if you have 
some knowledge of German already and can unravel some of the messes they get 
into through a bit of quick retro-translation. It made a right cock-up of 
some court reporting in the translation of which I was involved though ... 
downright dangerous!
 
DC: it might use a word like nopsebashawop, which would be simply nonsense.
RH: Wait a minute, buster, nopsing cannot possibly be considered simply 
nonsense!! The legal eagle brain of the originator was clearly in high gear 
for extended periods of time to create it!
