since i am sort of an eavesdropper on this whole conversation, being, at
least at this time, a consumer of foldingboats rather than a builder, i
find the Basteln conversation quite amusing.  i think the correct
translation should be "messing around" after rat's famous comment about
"messing around in boats" in the wind in the willows.  i am going to try
to find a german translation of that fine book to see what word rat uses
when on the rhein.

meanwhile, i shall probably have to start a new Basteln folder.

it's only electrons and the space between.  (oops.  i just realized i
may get some opposition on that.  oh, well.)
