I am not an expert in this area, but I know how to use apt:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/bison-bf$ apt-cache depends libbeagle0
libbeagle0
Depende: libc6
Depende: libglib2.0-0
Depende: libxml2
Sorry to spoil the fun, but I think that libbeagle is a C library.
