Just a quick update for those following events in the Legislature this
week and last.
Today in the House we overrode the Governor's vetoes of various items
affecting local programs.
Education
- Special Education Reimbursement was restored to $121 Million.
This represents the major increase from FY03 - about $55 Million.
- Education Pothole Account $7 million. This is a reserve to be
made available to communities that experience major, unexpected costs
