The Cultural Audit is being developed in a way that it will be accessible on the web
in a "read only" format. There will be a webmaster (person unknown at this moment) to
take additions or amendments. The Framingham START Partnership will maintain the data
base, and presently Tom Harris of the Historic Society is maintaining the data until
Partnership formalizes the system. Our intern Katherine Martin, who did all the
preliminary work for the Partnership is done as of today.
As to your question re model railroads, I am not sure that you will find that as a
well established category, but your name can be entered which in turn may result in
others adding their names regarding this specialty. Every hobby is not necessarily
"cultural" but the role of trains to Framingham's history lends its self to all sorts
of historic displays and programs, etc.
The plan is to publish a written directory annually both for informational and
marketing purposes. The website will be available year round for updating and current
information.

Michelle,

Will the results of this cultural audit be on-line? Is it on-line now? I am a model
railroader and would be interested in knowing of others in Framingham who share my
interest in this hobby. Is this an appropriate use of the cultural audit?

Regards,

Andy Miller
