Did I miss something? You said you can't have the people who you bought the new mattress from take it because you didn't buy a new mattress. Ok, one of us is confused. Set that aside, go down to the Memorial Building to the Public works office on the top floor. Pay x amount and the town will pick up your unwanted mattress and box spring. The prices are very reasonable. Fridge's, computer's cost are higher but for general furniture it is less than $10.00. You can call first and get a price quote if concerned. Good luck!
