Friends of Framingham,

The Framingham Civic League provides
programs in downtown Framingham, including our long-running
Saturday meals program, English as a
Second Languages (ESL) courses, and children's theatre
programs serving families throughout the MetroWest region.

As economic times continue to be difficult, it has
been a struggle to continue providing needed services in
Framingham. We need your help!

On Thursday, October 23rd at 8:00pm the Civic League will be
hosting our final fundraising event of the year, an Art
Auction. The auction is presented by Ross Galleries of New
York, with proceeds directly benefiting the Framingham Civic
League.

Tickets for this event are just $10 per person or $15 per
couple. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and there will be a
cash bar. Preview of the pieces to be auctioned will take
place from 7:00 to 8:00, with the auction beginning
immediately afterwards.

You can help the Civic League in several ways:

1. Show up! In addition to ticket prices, the Civic League
earns money from Ross Galleries based upon how many people
attend the auction, regardless of whether or not people
buy artwork! It will be a fun night out, and for low cost!

2. Donate an item to be auctioned. The Ross Galleries
auctioneer will auction items that we provide, with 100% of
the proceeds going to the Civic League! Items may include
artwork, sculptures, estate jewelry, sports memorabilia or
tickets, or gift certificates to local restaurants or
stores. All donated items are fully tax deductible based
upon full retail value.

The event will be held at:

Framingham Civic League
214 Concord Street
Framingham, MA

To RSVP/Purchase tickets or donate an item to be auctioned
please either contact the Civic League office at 508-875-
5218.

On behalf of the Civic League, thank you for your support!
