Hi, Mythmusic was the part of Myth wich drove me away from Myth to Freevo a few years ago. I have all of my music in a nice directory structure, but myth just dumped all audio in one big playlist... not so handy when there are about 350 albums in that list... in Freevo I just browse my music by the directory structure, not through a db. (though I believe you can change this behaviour with plugins. What exactly do you mean by browsing cover pictures? Fxd files can be used for multiple things, for instance to create a webradio playlist, but also for music playlists, or for providing 'extra' information about a (set of) video file(s). Hi. I'm using mythtv but I'm definitely not satisfied with the music plugin, mythmusic. I've used freevo before but I noticed that there is some important improvements, starting with 1.7 to the coming 2.0. I'd ask some questions about the 1.7 freevo music features: - is possible to browse mp3 files using directory structure in addition of tag? ( I use also tag, but this feature is useful to listen to new added in db music files) - is possible to browse trough cover pictures? from the screenshot page of the wiki it seems so... - the .fxd files are always used for web radio, for example? Many thanks, antani ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
